This IPL Facial can be customised to treat the following:
• Pigmentation: IPL breaks up uneven patches of melanin to reduce pigmentation. IPL selectively heats up the pigmented areas (but leaving the surrounding tissue alone and unharmed), then lifting that heated, “damaged” area to the surface of the skin where it is removed by the body’s natural exfoliation process. The pigmented area may look darker 24-48hrs after the treatment and then slowly fade away.
• Anti-aging: Stimulates collagen production to reduce fine lines, firm skin, shrink pores and even skin tone for younger looking skin. IPL stimulates collagen-producing skin cells called fibroblasts. These fibroblasts also contribute to the production of hyaluronic acid, a substance that keeps the skin moisturized and contributes to a youthful appearance.
• Acne: IPL penetrates the subdermal layer of the skin to kill acne-causing bacteria, calm inflammation and reduces excess sebum. It also improves collagen production and helps treat the redness, enlarged pores and pigmentation caused by acne.
